Men’s Fellowship

Men’s Fellowship and Prayer

All men are invited to a time of fellowship and prayer, 7:30 – 9:30 am on the first and third Saturdays of each month, we meet in the church library.

Men’s Ministry at THBC is done in service for the Lord first and foremost,

What does the Lord want to see happen in a man’s life? We need to rise up and become leaders that will help and encourage a deep relationship with our Father.  (1 Thessalonians 2:13)

God’s man learns how to apply God’s Word to all areas of his life. This type of conversation about applying the Word happens all the time within the group and we allow the scripture through the Holy Spirit lead us in that walk.

Everyone has such an important role in our growth as men and we recognize we are different in many ways so encouragement, listening, sharing, compassion, serving and praying for one another is vital in our walk. It is also essential to allow room for accountability within the men’s ministry for the purpose of consistency and obedience to God’s Word (James 1:22-25; Ezekiel 33:30-32).

What do you think? What are we searching for? What is our commission? Is it something you need or something you can offer, or better yet both.

Come and join us to see what the group is about.  All men are invited to a time of fellowship and prayer, 7:30 – 9:30 am on the first and third Saturday each month, we meet in the church library.

Guy’s Night Out

This ministry was born out of a desire for men to connect, have fun together, and go deeper than normal, everyday conversations allow.  Meeting bi-monthly, we host a variety of events for men of all ages, such as:  game nights, a Mother’s Day “Father and Son” craft, kayak trip, open gym, and more.  We truly have something for everyone.  Whether you’re from THBC or not, these events will surely encourage you as you build relationships with the other men and grow in your walk with Christ through meaningful conversation.  If you have further questions on this ministry, please see Kevin Proctor or Billy Shepardson.  Check back for information on upcoming events.

Men’s Breakfast:

Join us Saturday, May 6th from 8:00 – 9:30 am for a special men’s breakfast. We will enjoy some quality food and fellowship, and Pastor Josh Putnam from FBC of Howard City will be coming and speaking briefly to us on the topic of discipleship.  Please sign up at the table in the foyer if you plan on attending.  Questions?  See Pastor Andy, Dan Peterson, or Neal Franklin.
